Bright, deep inky-purple with a vivid crimson rim, showing excellent density and youthful vibrancy. The nose is lifted and expressive, offering an aromatic burst of dark fruits framed by fragrant spice and savoury complexity.
On the palate, this is a dark and brooding powerhouse. Intense blackcurrant and blackberry fruit sits at the core, surrounded by layers of prune, espresso, coffee bean and lashings of liquorice. The wine is super complex and full-spirited, with impressive texture and mouth-filling richness. Velvety yet structured tannins provide serious grip and length, while the finish rolls on with dark chocolate, savoury spice and lingering fruit.
A commanding Barossa Shiraz that delivers power, depth and personality in equal measure. Beautifully balanced for its size, showing the hallmarks of a standout release. This is classic Barossa Shiraz at its best: generous, complex and built to age gracefully.
