This wine pours deep, dark red in the glass, a classic Barossa expression. Aromatically, it opens with pure varietal fruit notes of plum and dark berries, layered with a gentle warmth of spice. Hints of clove and star anise add intrigue, alongside subtle undertones of dark chocolate and smoky oak.
The palate is full and expressive, offering generous layers of blackberry and plum wrapped in velvety tannins. There’s a wonderful depth to the mid-palate, where fruit and oak intertwine seamlessly, leading to a long, persistent finish. Concentrated and structured, this wine is a compelling example of Barossa old vine Shiraz — powerful, poised, and built to evolve beautifully in bottle.
Hand – tended. Pruning and picking are performed manually to protect these precious old vines which were handpicked March 2019.
