Description

Description

Colour: Deep Red with crimson hues

Aroma: Ripe Plum with dark berry fruits and warm spicy, vanillin notes.

Palate: This full, generous wine shows ripe plum and dark red fruits accompanied by brown spice and vanillin toasty notes. The mid palate sweetness and integrated tannins, balance out the intense fruit characters.

Wine: The 2023 vintage was much later then average. This was due to higher then average rainfall during winter and spring. This was followed by a mild summer, and no heatwaves so vines ripened slowly. With the Shiraz blocks being harvested from our Southern Barossa Valley Estate vineyards in late March and early April.
The LME Series Shiraz is a flavoursome wine, showing balanced varietal flavours, intensity and colour from the Southern Barossa Valley. The use of American Oak provides sweetness, savoury and toasty characters.

Food Pairing: A perfect companion to chargrilled rib-eye, slow-cooked lamb shoulder, roasted duck, aged cheddar or mature Gouda. Best enjoyed around a table shared with family and friends.
