Cellaring: The 2018 vintage for the Barossa Valley produced Cabernet Sauvignon with ripe, rich fruit characters and soft, creamy tannins. The balanced fruit, tannin structure makes this wine approachable on release, however will benefit from correct cellaring for 10+ years.
Vineyard: The grapes for this wine are grown on the Estate vineyards, at Rowland Flat in southern Barossa Valley. Sourced predominately from our Winery and Pops blocks. The vines are planted on single wire trellising controlling low/moderate cropping levels allowing optimal ripeness.
Winery: This wine was fermented at 25-28C in stainless steel tanks for 7-10 days and pumped over twice daily. Optimum skin contact married with American oak maturation for 24 months ensures length and structure on the palate. Leone 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is vegan friendly.
